Church History  1946-Present (See our Special Project Page)

April 21st 1946 

Our First Worship Service at Joyfield Road, Arcadia, Michigan.  Pastor Edward Ruhlig, of Trinity Lutheran Church, Onekama, Michigan, conducted the first service.

May 10th 1946 

Church Organized.  Pastor Merlin Sassmann was the first called pastor.  He served from 1946-1947.

October 6th 1946 

Constitution Adopted

June 2nd 1947 

Church relocated to Beulah, Michigan.  Pastor George Mahder began serving us in 1947 and remained until 1952.

June 1948 

Church accepted as a member of the Michigan District of the LCMS at a convention held in Detroit Michigan

1953 

Pastor A.C. Meier accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1953-1954.

1954 

Pastor T. Zetzer accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1954-1957.

1957 

Pastor G. Dobberfuhl accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1957-1958.

1957 

Pastor Donald Beyer accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1959-1961.

1962 

Current Building Site Purchased. Pastor James Moehring accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1962-1979.

1979 

Pastor John Neugerbauer accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1979-1985

1980 

Committee formed to investigate possibility of proceeding with building plans.

May 31st 1981 

Ground Broken for building project

February 9th 1982 

The church moved to a temporary store front location upon the sale of the Beulah building.

September 19th 1982 

Our Current building is dedicated

1985 

Pastor Daniel Henke accepts our call and serves as pastor from 1985-2001.

1991-1992 

Addition added to provide for Church office, meeting area, choir room, Sunday school and nursery

1993 

Addition of patio area, extended parking, and storage barn

November 1st, 2001 

Vicar Robert Bennett is inducted as our 1st vicar.

November 10, 2002 

Pastor  Robert Bennett is ordained and accepts our call.

May 2004 

Addition of Air-conditioning to our sanctuary
